　　很多留学生在打工时老板都会要求你自己申请ABN，然后你们之间以B2B的关系来进行交易，在这个问题上 存在一些争议，有人说吃亏有人说占便宜，但对于大多数普通的留学生来说申请ABN并不是一个好的主意。

　　申请ABN必须你本人携带证件办理，而不能让老板替你，老板也不能私下替你办理。

　　Tax file numbers (TFNs) are a principal form of evidence of identity. Although it is not a legal requirement to quote a TFN, not quoting it could delay the registration process and result in further queries from the Registrar.

　　Other evidence of identity the Registrar could ask for includes:

　　address

　　date of birth

　　date of incorporation

　　independent certification of business

　　passport

　　driver’s licence.
