　　进补套餐一  早餐词汇
　　一天之计在于晨。因此，早餐当然要吃饱，这样一天才能精神百倍。而词汇是英语的基础，只有吃饱“词汇”这顿早餐，同学们的英语才有突飞猛进的原动力。不过，早餐的品种多种多样，这里我们仅仅提供了两道餐点：词汇辨析和连词讲解。如果同学们还想尝试其他的，就要自己准备了！

　　常见词汇误用辨析

　　1. according to
　　［误］ According to his view, we should set about doing our task at once.
　　［正］ According to him, we should set about doing our task at once.
　　［析］ according to通常不与view（观点）和opinion（意见）之类的词连用，故将his view改为him。
　　
　　2. against
　　［误］ Other students against the idea about keeping animals in zoos.
　　［正］ Other students are against the idea about keeping animals in zoos.
　　［析］作介词用的against不能单独作谓语，其前应加系动词are。
　　
　　3. be about to
　　［误］ The medical team is about to start immediately.
　　［正］ The medical team is about to start.
　　［析］ be about to表示即将发生的动作，因此在含有该结构的句子中，不能再加时间状语。
　　
　　4. between
　　［误］ You’re to sit between you and I.
　　［正］ You’re to sit between you and me.
　　［析］介词between后的代词应用宾格，故应将I改为me。
　　
　　5. belong to
　　［误］ The new car parking there belongs to mine.
　　［正］ The new car parking there belongs to me.
　　［析］动词短语belong to后接的宾语应该是人称代词宾格，不是名词性物主代词。
　　
　　6. congratulate
　　［误］ They congratulated him for his new discovery.
　　［正］ They congratulated him on his new discovery.
　　［析］ congratulate意为“祝贺”，其后所接的宾语通常是人，常用congratulate sb. on sth.，表示“为……而祝贺”。
　　
　　7. convenient
　　［误］ Ring me back if you are convenient.
　　［正］ Ring me back if it is convenient to you.
　　［析］ convenient意为“便利的、方便的”，常以物作主语，因此汉语中的“如果你方便的话”，应译为： if it is convenient to you.
　　
　　8. during
　　［误］ During you are away, I’ll be kind to him.
　　［正］ While you are away, I’ll be kind to him.
　　［析］ during（在……期间）是个介词，不能作连词，所以此处将during改为while。
　　
　　9. discuss
　　［误］ I discussed about my problem with my parents.
　　［正］ I discussed my problem with my parents.
　　［析］ discuss作“讨论、谈论”讲是及物动词，后面无须再加介词about。但要注意，名词discussion后可以用介词about。例如：We had a discussion about the differences between Britain and the USA. 我们讨论了英美两国的不同之处。
　　
　　10. enter
　　［误］ Her dream to enter into the famous university came true.
　　［正］ Her dream to enter the famous university came true.
　　［析］ enter表示“进入”时是及物动词，可直接带宾语，故into多余，应该去掉。类似的动词还有：marry误为marry with; reach误用为reach to; mention误用为mention about; serve误用为serve for等。
　　
　　11. explain
　　［误］ Please explain me how to join a tennis club.
　　［正］ Please explain to me how to join a tennis club.
　　［析］ explain不属于可带双宾语的动词，如果后面需接间接宾语时，要在间接宾语前面加to，即explain sth. to sb.或explain to sb. sth.类似的动词还有say／suggest／announce等。
